ALL PIEROGI KITCHEN
Admittedly, given the events of the past few months, using All Pierogi Kitchen to represent Russia is a serious geopolitical stretch. That's because the homemade pierogi at this cute little shop hail from Ukraine. But pierogi this good deserve the widest possible audience. Try the savory ones stuffed with farmer's cheese, beef or sauerkraut and mushrooms, and the sweet ones filled with cherries, blueberries or prunes. Exceptional stuffed cabbage and borscht, too.

All Pierogi Mesa, AZ, My Experience.
As I am traveling the west, I made a stop in Phoenix , AZ to interview couple of huge and luxurious resorts located in Scottsdale AZ, and write an article about their day to day operations. After great meetings, I have decided to go for some local European food. Being from Chicago (spoiled with good ethnic home made food) and born in Poland, pierogi was just the dish I was craving for. To my surprise, there were very few options to choose from in the Valley of Sun. I spoke with a few locals and they recommended the All Pierogi Kitchen located in Mesa. Just a 15 minute drive from my hotel, I found this cute little store/restaurant with 4 tables located on Baseline Rd and Alma School Rd. With much anticipation I entered the store to find a pretty big selection of pierogi and sausages, not to mention other european food staples, fresh and homemade. I did not know where to begin but I found myself ordering a bit of everything. The sauerkraut and mushrooms were by far my favorite and just like mom makes. The stuffed cabbage also reminded me of home. I had a nice and informational conversation with the owner of the All Pierogi, and to sum it up, (Living American Dream). Well, to make long story short, they have me as a customer. Every time I will be visiting the Phoenix area, I will be eating here. Since I am here for few days, I will be looking for more places serving European food. This is not a review for this restaurant, it is simply my discovery of culinary options outside the world famous Chicago foods. Thought it would be nice to share.
